Governance Model and Ownership

Posti Group Corporation’s highest decision-making body is the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which elects the members of the Supervisory Board, the Board of Directors and the auditor. Posti Group is managed by the Board of Directors and the President and CEO. Its operations are organized into six business groups. The company is domiciled in Helsinki.

Posti Group Corporation is public limited company owned entirely by the Finnish state.

The ownership policy of Posti and other state-owned companies is managed by the Ownership Steering Department of the Prime Minister's Office, which is responsible for the preparation and execution of the ownership strategy and the development of sound corporate governance.

Posti Group Corporation is classified as a company with market-based operations in which the owner has a strategic interest. The owner's objective is to ensure the best financial performance possible at any given time. Profitability and long-term growth in shareholder value are the key indicators of success in this respect.
