The postal industry has reached a new collective agreement, which means the industrial actions are over for now. Work will go on as usual on Tuesday, and we can focus all our efforts on clearing the backlog and handling Christmas mail.

- It's a relief to be able to promise to our customers that mail will be delivered during the Christmas season. At the moment, we still have lots of work to do in clearing the backlog caused by the strikes, but we are doing everything we can to make sure that there will be no delays to Christmas mail, Jarmo Ainasoja, Director of Posti's Control Center promises.

Services that are available as normal:

The strikes have caused delays in the following services:

- I want to thank our customers for their patience and trust in us. Supervisors and employees not covered by the strikes have handled mail also during the strikes, which will help us clear the backlog caused by the industrial action. Our own personnel will from now on be helped by seasonal assistants, just like before every Christmas. I believe that this team will help us realize the promises we have made to our customers, Jarmo Ainasoja says.
