EDI Management becomes  Confidea Consulting

EDI Management Finland Ltd, a Finland Post Group Logistics business group company engaged in logistics and online business consulting, will change its name to Oy Confidea Business Consulting Ltd. The change will become effective on 1 April 2007.

Under its new name, Confidea Consulting wishes to consolidate its image as a business management consulting company with wide experience. The change also reflects the intensive expansion of the company’s expertise and experience into business models and operative structural solutions.

Focusing on extensive, practical consulting on extensive logistics strategies, operational logistics, e-business and the implementation of related solutions, Confidea Consulting bases its operations on thorough knowledge of customers’ supply chains, expertise in the related business and IT, and the integration of these for the benefit of the customer.

Confidea Consulting, founded in 1989, employs 14 consultants. In 2003, Finland Post corporation acquired a 51 per cent majority share of the company. Key staff at Confidea Consulting own the remaining shares.
