You can vote in advance in the municipal elections from March 29 to April 4, 2017. The actual election day is Sunday, April 9, 2017. The notices of the right to vote are sent well before the start of the advance voting. Each municipality selects the locations for its advance polling stations. In Helsinki, Posti offers many opportunities for voting in advance with 12 advance voting stations. In accordance with the Election Act, the municipal board is responsible for organizing the advance vote in Finland.
