In 2023, an international methodology for the Book and Claim model for transport was published. Customer's shipments are usually dispersed across several different vehicles, and the methodology allows fossil-free shipments to be earmarked for a specific customer. The methodology offers a transitional solution for those customers who already want to buy transport completely fossil-free. Posti's additional Fossil-Free Transport service for its freight customers is based on this methodology.
