Louis has been working with Posti since 2015, first as a Light Vehicle Driver, then for a year in consumer delivery and currently as an Articulated Vehicle Driver. Obtaining his current post was a long-time goal for Louis, and when a position finally became available, he got his dream job.

Develop your career in a diverse industry
In the transportation industry, you can work in a wide range of positions, such as as driver, dispatcher, terminal worker, planner, production supervisor or transport manager. Many of our employees have also moved from one job to another in their careers, such as working at the terminal and then becoming a truck or trailer truck driver. The career path does not need to be end here, either – you could end up in Posti’s supervisory or expert positions later in your career!
We reward good performance
You can earn extra money for a job well done. The Route Master digital application is a new way of rewarding our drivers based on the customer experience and driving style index, among other things. With Route Master, our drivers earn points for different tasks and goals as they work. You can also thank a colleague and give them extra points, while also earning them yourself. The points are converted into a monetary bonus in addition to the salary according to the collective agreement.
With us, you can develop your competence as a driver
Alongside your studies
We offer new professionals traineeships and work opportunities. You can often find a fixed-term or part-time job with us that you can combine with your studies. Apprenticeship training is widely used in the vocational training of Posti’s new and existing employees.
After graduation
Vocational degrees are valued at Posti. By completing a full or partial degree in the transportation industry, you have the opportunity to quickly get to work in a position requiring professional qualifications and a C class driving license, for example.
During your career
As a Posti driver, you will receive all further training you need to maintain your professional qualifications. We organize various training courses each year on, for example, occupational safety, forklift safety and proactive driving.
Posti Academy
Posti Academy is Posti’s own training model aimed at supporting our employees’ professional competence development. We offer opportunities for development alongside work and information on applying for vocational training for all Posti employees. In this way, we can make our work meaningful and safe for our employees throughout Finland. Posti Academy gives you the opportunity to continuously develop your skills alongside your work.
