Friendorsement – when a friend’s words help you take the first step

Applying for a summer job can feel a little intimidating, especially when you have only a small amount of work experience or none at all. At the same time, many of us find it challenging to talk about our own skills, even though we have many strengths. Friendorsement was created because a friend often knows how to put into words what you do well, even when it is difficult to do so yourself.

How Friendorsement works

You can send a Friendorsement to us on Posti’s Instagram or TikTok via direct message. We reply to the sender and provide instructions that can be shared with the friend who was complimented.

The friend who receives a Friendorsement applies for a summer job through Posti’s official recruitment channels. If they wish, they can include the Friendorsement as part of their application in the open “Friendorsement” field.

Friendorsement is not a shortcut to an interview

Friendorsement is a thoughtful way to receive support from a friend when describing your strengths during the application process. All interview invitations and hiring decisions always follow Posti’s normal recruitment procedures.

Why we created Friendorsement
