Together with Partioaitta, we are collecting coats for the homeless again

There are thousands of homeless people in Finland, and one very concrete need when the weather is cold is a warm winter jacket. Partioaitta will again organize a traditional coat collection this year and distribute warm winter jackets to those in need throughout the fall and winter. Posti and Transval are involved in the collection for the third year as partners.

In addition to local collection points, you can also make a coat donation by Posti. In our warehouses, we receive jackets, bundle them in reels and deliver the reels to the desired points.

Donations sent by post will be directed to areas where there is no collection point and events and actors where the need for assistance is most significant. So send an unnecessary intact, clean, and warm jacket free of charge via Posti.

Donate your warm, intact and clean jacket by mailing it by October 6, 2021. Use the jacket collection logistics ID 612564, so shipping doesn't cost you anything. In addition to the annual Homeless Night event, during this exceptional year, jackets will be distributed throughout the fall and winter.

Last year, a total of 4,713 jackets were donated, and they were distributed in cooperation with Vailla vakinaista asuntoa association and other actors in the social and health sector.
