Posti wants to ensure a smooth Christmas for all its customers. We have almost 3,300 service points all around Finland, almost 2,300 of which are parcel lockers and about 1,000 are outlets offering personal service. Our retail network consists of Posti’s own shops as well as service points and parcel lockers managed by our partners.
The majority of the outlets managed by our partners are run by shops and other companies and serve according to their own opening hours during Christmas, New Year and Epiphany.
You can check the locations and opening hours of all our service points at posti.fi/en/service-points-on-map

Posti’s own shops’ opening hours extended
In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Posti’s own shops in Helsinki, Espoo and Jyväskylä will have extended opening hours. Posti’s own shops will be open before Christmas on weekdays until 9 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Christmas Eve December 24 Posti’s own shops will be closed.
The Christmas and New Year holidays also bring changes to the opening hours. On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, December 25–26, Posti’s own shops are closed. On New Year’s Eve, December 31, our own shops will remain open until 6 p.m. On New Year’s Day, January 1, and on Epiphany, January 6, our own shops are closed.
Santa Claus’ main post office on the Arctic Circle will be open every day (Mon–Sun) from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Epiphany on January 6.
Temporary pickup points will mainly remain open until the end of the year
We have also opened 101 temporary pickup points around Finland for the peak season. Some of the temporary pickup points are Posti’s own, and some are operated by Posti’s partners.
The temporary pickup points will be closed at different times: some on December 23, some by the end of the year and some will continue to serve even after the peak season. Most of the temporary pickup points will be closed by the end of the year. You can check the opening hours at posti.fi/en/service-points-on-map
