Posti is predicting a record peak season in e-commerce for late 2020 when parcel volumes might climb to record-breaking numbers. From Black Friday 27.11. onwards, parcels are delivered to the most popular pick-up points seven days a week. Home deliveries are also expected to increase towards the end of the year.
E-commerce parcels will be picked up and delivered to recipients on Sunday, November 29th to December 20th. In addition to the Helsinki metropolitan area, Sunday deliveries include Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Oulu, Pori, Seinäjoki, Tampere and Turku. Seven-day parcel delivery covers almost half of the entire population.
