Service logistics company Itella - a market leader of contract logistics in Russia - signed a long-term warehousing contract with M.Video, one of the leading Russian consumer electronics retail channels. Itella will provide M.Video 70 000 cubic meters of warehouse space in Krekshino in Moscow region and 5000 square meters of small cells at mezzanine zone.
The partnership of Itella and M.Video began from warehousing at the small mezzanine zone with 2500 squre meters with small cells in Odintsovo in 2005. The new contract means significant growth of cooperation as the warehouse space required now is almost double compared to last year. M.Video is also one of the biggest Air & Sea freight clients of Itella in Russia, and volumes in this area of cooperation have been remarkably growing during the past year.
