Itella and DHL Express have signed a cooperation contract on domestic distribution. Itella Mail will take care of the nationwide distribution of DHL Express Day Definite shipments (road express) in import to Finland. DHL Express continues to handle the pickup of Day Definite shipments in export and all pickup and delivery of Time Definite shipments (air express). The new setup will go live on May 26, 2013.
The Day Definite service DHL IMPORT ECONOMY SELECT - mainly used by business customers - is an international door-to-door delivery within a certain number of business days for less urgent and heavier shipments. Customs clearance for dutiable goods is part of the service
