Delivery services’ prices for corporate customers to change on January 1, 2013

03.12.2012

Due to higher labor, material and transport costs, the prices of delivery services for businesses will be increased on January 1, 2013. This applies to companies who have signed a contract with Itella Posti Oy. The change will have no impact on consumers.

The main price increases concern the price list prices of mail, publication and direct mail deliveries, and transport services:

For service prices, see the Tariffs and Rates for Companies, and the Franking Machine Price List at www.itella.fi/prices. Stamp prices, and the prices of letters and parcels paid at postal outlets will remain unchanged.

Itella introduces a new service for sending small items: Itella Small Item

Small Item is a cost-effective solution for companies for sending small but relatively heavy items in Finland. Examples include books, DVDs, clothing, subscriber gifts, product samples, or small customer gifts, for example. Regarding its dimensions, a Small Item can be delivered to the recipient with the daily mail to most mail slots and boxes.

Service range to be streamlined on January 1, 2013

Domestic addressed letter, direct mail, and publication deliveries ordered through a mailing list will be renewed at the beginning of the year. The number of service items has been reduced by more than half. There will be changes to payment indications, pre-processing, and maximum letter dimensions. For more details, please visit www.itella.fi/renewal.
