Stevedores began a 24-hour strike today February 2. at 06.00 am at all major ports in Finland. The strike is expected to end on February 3. at 06.00 am. A ban on overtime is also implemented. Workers hope the strike will restart labour talks which broke off on Sunday.
An open-ended strike is planned for February 19. if a new contract is not ready by then.
