Mail deliveries return to normal more quickly than expected

09.11.2010

Most mail deliveries will return to normal throughout Finland at the beginning of this week. There will be some regional differences in the delivery process returning to normal, but mail deliveries are expected to take place as usual throughout Finland by the end of the week.

The settlement reached on Sunday concerning the collective labor agreement for the communication and logistics sector ended the industrial action which had disrupted mail deliveries in recent weeks.

The settlement also ensures that Christmas mail will be delivered as usual, which is important for many customers. Christmas mail, both cards and parcels, will be delivered according to the usual schedule in Finland and abroad.
