The Transport Workers' Union (AKT) goes on strike today 2nd of March at 18.00 hrs in Finland. The strike has no affect on the Itella's road freight operations. Cargo is shipped and distributed in accordance with our normal schedule.
The Stevedores' Labour Union has announced that their stoppage of work will start Thursday 4th of March 06.00 hrs onwards unless an agreement is reached before that. The strike will delay our service, but our operational staff will look for alternative routes. Additional strike surcharges may be charged.
