Itella Logistics awarded quality and environment certifications in Finland and Norway

Itella Logistics has expanded its quality management and environment systems to cover new units in Finland and Norway.

In Finland, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications have been awarded to the service warehouses in Kotka, Vantaa (Voutila) and Orimattila (Pennala), as well as the freight and forwarding operations in Tuusula.

In Norway ISO 9001 certification has been awarded to the Stavanger terminal and ISO 14001 certification to the entire Norwegian subsidiary, Itella Logistics AS.

"Itella Logistics is committed to continuous and determined development of quality and environmental matters. We will continue certifying our units this year. Our long-term goal is to certify all units in our domestic market area," says Kristian von Bonsdorff, Development Director, Itella Logistics.

Previously, quality and environmental certifications have been awarded to the Juvanmalmi service warehouse in Espoo, and the sorting and terminal operations at the Logistics Center in Vantaa. In Sweden, Itella Logistics has been awarded ISO 14001 certification, and in Russia, ItellaNLC has been awarded ISO 9001 quality certification.
