Finnish Business delegation visited ItellaNLC warehouse in Novosibirsk

A business delegation lead by the Finnish Foreign Trade Minister Paavo Väyrynen visited ItellaNLC warehouse in Novosibirsk, Russia during April 7-9.  The delegation's goal was to develop and establish commercial relationships between Russian and Finnish companies. Approximately 15 companies, including Itella Logistics participated in the trip. Major focus areas were logistics, information and communication technology and the construction industry.

In ItellaNLC's warehouse in Novosibirsk Jan Pawli, Vice President Global Sales and Marketing, Itella Logistics, and Vyascheslav Dunaev, Regional Director, ItellaNLC, gave a presentation about Itella's operations in Russia as well as a guided warehouse tour. The participants were positively surprised to learn about Itella's geographic coverage in the Russian market and also amazed by the size and quality of the operations in Novosibirsk.

"From our point of view the trip was very successful. New contacts and potential business prospects were met and the awareness of Itella's Logistics business and operations was widely spread", says Jan Pawli from Itella Logistics.

Novosibirsk warehouse is the heart of Itella's service logistics in West Siberia

Novosibirsk is the third largest city in Russia with a population of 1,4 million, and it is situated in the West Siberian economic region, bordering to Kazakhstan, Altai territory, Kemerovo, Omsk and Tomsk regions.
