The protest organized by various labor unions on September 18 to protest against the decisions made by the Finnish government also caused disruptions to Posti’s services. Some of the services were executed with special arrangements regardless of the exceptional situation.
Especially mail delivery experienced a backlog due to the protest. It may take several days to handle the backlog, and there may also be delays in delivery. According to the current estimate, the situation will normalize during this week.
Posti will do everything in its power to minimize the inconvenience caused to its customers.
