Sanoma and Itella working in cooperation to boost domestic e-commerce

Sanoma's Mitäsaisiolla.fi (MSO.fi) and Itella have agreed on a completely new kind of e-commerce cooperation. Combining the online shopping mall with the best reach in Finland with modern and cost-effective logistics services creates interesting, new competition in the domestic, competitive and growing e-commerce sector.

The cooperation offers online merchants an opportunity to get MSO.fi's far-reaching and well-functioning market platform and Itella's logistics services as a single solution. Consumers profit from the new service with good customer service and faster delivery times. 

MSO.fi was launched in fall 2013 and has now almost 200 online merchants with over 35,000 products in total. MSO.fi reaches 3.5 million potential customers every week via Sanoma's various online services. The online mall can also be found at the HS.fi, Radiosuomipop.fi, Hyväterveys.fi, Vauva.fi, Meidänperhe.fi and Puutarha.net services.

This year, Itella launched an extensive warehousing and delivery system investment project that automates a significant part of e-commerce processes. For online merchants, this change signifies more efficient and broader service, while for consumers it translates to faster delivery times; the customer may receive the ordered products even on the same day.

The building of e-commerce cooperation between Sanoma and Itella will launch immediately.
