As part of Itella Group’s EUR 100 million cost-cutting program, announced in August 2011, Itella Logistics started synergy-related restructuring needs in Sweden and Denmark. The plans, announced in February 2012, were estimated to lead to a headcount reduction of 70 permanent employees.
Upon the conclusion of the employee negotiations, the headcount reduction need was specified as 44 permanent employees. Itella Logistics has a total 403 employees in Sweden and Denmark.
