Business delivery service prices to change on September 1


Due to increased general costs and decreased shipment volumes, the prices of some of the delivery services for businesses will increase by 2% as of September 1, 2011.

The change will affect the listed prices for invoiced letter, paper and direct marketing services, and letter services paid through a franking machine.

The increase will not apply to early-morning paper delivery, contract delivery of large letter batches and receiving services, such as Corporate Postal Code and P.O. Box services, nor to parcel or transport services.

Consumers will not be affected by the change; the price of stamps as well as letters and parcels paid in postal outlets will remain unchanged.
