Rautakesko and Itella Logistics have made a transport agreement concerning warehouse distributions to Rautakesko's customers in Finland. Thanks to the new agreement, Itella is now Rautakesko's warehousing and transportation partner which applies the same goods warehousing and distribution methods in all the countries where Rautakesko operates.
The agreement covers the warehouse distributions in Finland to K-rauta, Rautia and K-maatalous stores and to K-customer contract stores. Warehouse distribution mainly comprises own imports and terminal flow goods. Annually, Rautakesko has some 24,000 customer deliveries, in which a total of 130,000 tons of building and home improvement goods are transported.

Itella Logistics has been responsible for Rautakesko's warehousing services in Finland since 2002. In March 2008, Rautakesko selected Itella Logistics as its international logistics partner. The agreement covers the warehousing, terminal operations and store distribution of building and home improvement products. The cooperation agreement made then expanded operations to Norway and Sweden, and later to Rautakesko's other operating countries in the Baltics and Russia.
