Länsförsäkringar AB has decided to outsource issue management, scanning and archiving of insurance documents, invoices and other documentation to Itella Information AB, one of the Nordic region's leading suppliers in the outsourcing of document and financial management. The agreement means that 14 people in Stockholm will transfer from Länsförsäkringar to Itella.
- This cooperation with Itella will improve quality, while at the same time we will reduce our costs and improve support for the operation. It has been a long process, but now we feel we have signed an agreement with a leading supplier in this field, a supplier that has the capability and will to work together with Länsförsäkringar long term and establish a resource-efficient and rational document management system, says Douglas Andersson, Department Manager of Office Services at Länsförsäkringar.

At present, Itella has several production units for scanning in Jämtland. These are also linked together in an international network with a further six production units.
