Itella Logistics air cargo is shipped normally during the strike by using alternative airlines. Also Finnair Cargo Terminal Operations will remain open for their customer airlines.
Finnair and The Finnish Airline Pilots' Association have failed to reach agreement in employment agreement negotiations. Finnair pilots began a strike on 16 November 2009. Due to the pilots' strike Finnair does not accept cargo for air transportation at the moment.
