Itella Information took third place in business professionals' competition AHEAD 2009.
The prizewinners are big and well-known companies in Lithuania. The first place team was Jungtine auditoriu kontora providing auditing, accounting, and advice services. Mazeikiu Nafta, which took second place, is the only operating petroleum refinery in the Baltic States. Itella Information participated for the first time and took third place.
AHEAD 2009 started on May 6. The team was responsible for planning and realizing five years of business decisions in three weeks time. The team worked together accessing an online business simulation model. Results and feedback were distributed after each round. The ten strongest teams reached the final. The last round took place on May 27. After six hours of hard work the winning teams were announced - one of them was the Itella Information team.
