Finland Post Group has appointed Heikki Länsisyrjä, MScEcon, to serve as Vice President, Itella Information Logistics, and a member of the Executive Board as of 15 January 2007.
Länsisyrjä, 46, will join Finland Post Group from Fujitsu Services Oy, where his latest position involved responsibility for line of business and regional business and operations in the Baltic countries. He has worked for Fujitsu and its predecessors since 1986.
Itella Information Logistics operates in eight northern European countries, providing services for digital printing, electronic invoicing and transactions, and document management. It employs some 1,500 staff. In 2005, its turnover amounted to €186 million.
