Finland Post will open a recruitment service point at the Helsinki General Post Office on Monday, 23rd April, to present and offer vacancies ranging from newspaper and postal delivery service duties to international expert positions. Primarily, the service point will focus on vacancies in the Helsinki Metropolitan area and the province of Uusimaa.
- Our aim is to ensure the availability of adequate human resources for the purpose of securing our operational performance in service provision, says Susanna Vainionpää, head of recruitment at Finland Post. The new service point will make it easy to apply for vacant positions, because the central location makes the place easy to reach for everyone. The recruitment point offers both permanent positions, part-time jobs and temporary posts.
In the last few years, Finland Post has developed from a postal service company into a diverse international corporation providing services for the management of information and material flows. Most vacancies are offered in delivery services, but we also offer employment opportunities to electronic communication specialists. Postal services for consumers are offered under the Posti brand, whereas corporate services are pooled under the brand Itella. Finland Post is the second largest corporate employer in Finland. On 1 June 2007, the company name will change to Itella Corporation.
The opening hours of the recruitment service point, to be opened on Monday, will be from 10am to 5pm on weekdays. During the opening week, the point will present the various operations and units of Finland Post.
