M.Sc. (Econ.) Tom Jansson, 50, has been appointed for the SVP, CFO of the Posti Group Corporation and a member of the Executive Board at Posti Group, starting January 1, 2019.
Since September 1, 2018 Jansson has acted as interim CFO and member of the Executive Board at Posti Group. Before Posti Jansson has served as CFO of OpusCapita (2018) and CFO of Comptel Oyj (2013-2017). He has had also several managerial duties at Tellabs (1994-2013).
- Tom Jansson has a long and strong experience as a CFO and we are very pleased to have him in the Posti´s team. The postal turmoil is about to accelerate over the next few years due to the rapid development of digitalization. This makes it more important to focus on the company's profitability and competitiveness. This requires strict and vigorous financial management, because Posti operates in the postal, parcel and logistics markets market-based and in tough competition without any public funding, says Posti Group’s President and CEO Heikki Malinen.
